As recent graduates, we’re well aware of how hard this economy is hitting people just out of school. That’s why we were so excited to discover that some fellow classmates had struck out on their own with a new business in the same way we did.
Introducing: Chocomize.com. If we eat, breathe and bathe in salsa; they do the same with chocolate. If there’s one thing that could compare to my love of salsa, it’s chocolate. But this is not just any chocolate: these are custom chocolate bars where you can personalize your bar with anything from walnuts to bacon. And if there’s one thing that could even compare to my love of chocolate, it’s bacon.
As a fellow food-related start-up, we’ve watched them pretty closely. Everything we do is a learning experience, and we’ve been fortunate to be able to learn from other’s mistakes and successes (as well as our own). They especially have given us an enormous amount of advice and direction and for that we’re proud to support them in any way we can. Their charitability isn’t just limited to us, however—a portion of all their revenue gets donated to good causes.
They offer literally thousands of premium chocolate bar choices, and so I’ve undertaken a personal test to try and create the most outrageous chocolate bar. Expect a follow-up post when it arrives.
The only question left is: when do we get a salsa flavor, guys?

Thanks for the shout out, hope you guys like your chocolate bar…we’ll have to investigate how to get salsa into a chocolate bar!
whoa. this is awesome, and what i’ll be playing with for the next hour.
